Hello Folks! Welcome to Our Blog.

For this week’s challenge I chose the maths game I wrote for the first game jam. This was a maths based game, design to help children learn their times tables and can be found here: Week 6: Game Jam Beta Release 0.1.x

Ordinarily the avatars would have come first but just this once I’ll do them retrospectively…

Karen – Mum of two…

Role & Description

Karen is an NHS Nurse and mum of two young children, Genevieve aged 5 and Jonathan aged 3.

Karen
Karen

The two children are ‘thick as thieves’ and best friends. Genevieve really misses her brother when she’s at school and all she wants to do when she gets home is to have fun and play with him. Getting her to do her homework is really hard work. Genevieve has a maths test coming up very soon and Karen is really struggling to encourage her to learn her times tables.

Key Quote

“I really wish I could get Genevieve to focus on her homework but all she wants to do is play with her brother”
