Apologies for the lack of posts recently, I’ve had to temporarily alter priorities owing to a couple of urgent issues with the day job that need resolving. Falling down the stairs last Wednesday hasn’t exactly helped either. At the time of writing I’d estimate I am about 2 weeks behind schedule and I expect this to rise to 3 weeks by the end of the week.
I don’t generally believe in excuses for one simple reason: excuses don’t deliver products (or blog posts, or games). Instead, this post is intended to break radio silence and outline my catch-up plan to recover the situation and hit my deadline of completing the module by the end of week 12.
During week 11 I will be on annual leave. The original plan was to go away for a mini break but owing to the COVID situation this is no longer possible. Instead I plan to use this time to finish week 8 and complete weeks 9 through 11. My stretch goal is to start planning the assignment that week as well with a view to shooting and editing it in week 14. With a fair wind and a calm sea an optimistic completion date would be before Christmas.
In summary, normal service will resume shortly.
