As we now move into the last module on the course, the dissertation project, I plan to draw on the output of the business module to further develop the VR sorcery game I was working on, making it polished and playable.
The player fantasy is very simple:
“I am an apprentice sorcerer. My mentor was brutally murdered and, armed with only a basic knowledge, to become more powerful I must journey through dark and dangerous lands, searching for arcane magic that has long been lost to the world. Throughout my journey I will be tested and must choose between light and dark. The choices I make will define the path I must now walk and determine the outcome of my adventure.”
Featuring gesture-based input and procedural map generation plus a host of other goodies I’m hoping to make something truly special.
